Itsy Bitsy Child Watch
Free drop-in child-watch for all HCC students.
If you are an HCC student and a parent with a child between 3 months and 12 years, the Itsy Bitsy Child Watch is for you! Located in 130 Marieb, this FREE child-watch program can be used on a regular or part-time schedule or in an emergency situation when your usual child care arrangements fall apart. The only thing you need to do is REGISTER. Even if you don't think you need the service right now, register so if the need arises, you'll be able to have your child join us. We'll be open for the Summer Session, but you may register now or at any time for future semesters.
HOW TO REGISTER
Get started by filling out this child-watch registration form.
After you register, we ask that you fill out several forms on the child watch registration form website. Links to those forms are also below, but you must register first to access them.
You will also need to provide proof of vaccinations, including COVID for children 5 years and older. You will need to contact your child's doctor to get a copy of their vaccination history. After registering, please read this information for details.
Finally, please read our Parent Handbook to learn all about us and the service we offer!
By appointment only
Attendance is by appointment only. You can set up a regular schedule for attendance or simply check in to reserve a spot for a particular day and time. Children attend just long enough for a parent to attend a class or advisory meeting, stop at the library, or work out at the gym. Most time slots will be between 2 - 4 hours. Please note:
- Space is limited to 10 children at any given time.
- We have only two cribs available, so do check with us if that is a need you have.
- We do not provide full time care
- We cannot accept children who are ill.
Click here to use Navigate to make an appointment! You will be able to indicate what days and times you want to have your child at Itsy Bitsy Child Watch. Spaces are limited. Please note that at this time we cannot guarantee that we will have staff available for last minute appointments.
