Mental Health Support
CHD (Center for Human Development) is a non-profit organization that provides community-based mental health services, and is here to support HCC students!
The Holyoke CHD clinic is located at 494 Appleton St., Holyoke. The entrance to the clinic is on the left side of the building with the access ramp.
At the clinic location, we offer:
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Family therapy
- Psychiatry services
Our clinic staff are here to support Holyoke Community College students with any mental health struggle and are trained in a wide variety of evidence-based therapies. Should students need additional services, CHD clinic staff will refer you to other programs including Peer Support, Recovery Coaching, Residential Substance Use Services, Emergency Shelter Services, In-Home therapy, Early Intervention, and much more. We are excited to be partnering with HCC in order to support student success. Please visit the CHD website for a full menu of services at chd.org.
Our clinics are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. We offer in-person, telehealth, late evening, and Saturday visits outside of our normal office hours, based on clinician availability. We also offer open access services for new and existing clients Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. If you have any questions, feel free to stop in or call us at 413.420.2302.
