Hurricane Fiona Relief

Following catastrophic damage sustained from Hurricane Fiona, the City of Holyoke Community Emergency Response Team has launched relief support for the people of Puerto Rico. Volunteers are assembling Boricua Care Packages to send to residents, and the City is also accepting financial contributions (see below).

HCC will be collecting supplies until October 14. If you'd like to help, the items needed are listed below. We ask that you please only provide items included on this list. Thank you for your generosity!

  • Anything solar, such as power banks and small lamps
  • Small flashlights 
  • Matches
  • Ziploc bags (snack, quart, gallon size)
  • Trash bags, 32 gallons or bigger
  • Toilet paper rolls (each care package can hold 2 rolls)
  • Canned Spam
  • Potted meat
  • Vienna sausages
  • Beans
  • Mac & cheese
  • Chef Boyardee
  • Batteries (AA, AAA, C, D)
  • Water purifying tablets
  • First aid kits
  • Soap bars, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes
