We can't wait to celebrate our 76th Commencement and President Royal's last Commencement with Holyoke Community College. The following are important details to note.

The recipient of the 2023 Elaine Marieb Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence will lead the procession of faculty, staff, and graduates into the MassMutual Arena and give the keynote address.

The Student Speaker (Orator) and Student Performer applications will open in April, and the deadline to apply is Friday, April 28, 2023, by midnight. Keep an eye out for the application in your HCC email.   

The Class Gift Presenter and Distinguished Service Award Winner will also be announced. 


All cleared graduates, please check your HCC emails for program information in mid-April. If you have yet to receive notification from the Registrar's office and you think you should be a graduate for the Class of 2023, please submit a graduation application today!

Join the Student Records office during the activity period starting in April to help you prepare for Commencement.

April 5 - Are you cleared to graduate? Stop by the Student Records table for assistance; they can review your record on the spot!

April 12 - Do you need an official transcript to transfer or join the workforce? Stop by the Student Records table for assistance.

April 19 - Tell us about your future career/transfer plans; receive a free gift when you submit a survey. 

April 26 - Are you cleared to graduate for Spring or Summer 2023? Stop by the Student Records table for assistance; they can review your record on the spot! 

May 3 - Celebrating Class of 2023 grads! Stop by our table for last-minute transcript orders, review records for graduation clearance, and take a survey to receive a free gift!


Cap & Gown Pick-Up Celebration
Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. in Campus Center Cafeteria 

Come to pick up your FREE cap and gown, honor tassels, and special program cords, including a photo opportunities with President Royal and the Cougar, decorate your cap, enjoy food, and more!
