Alumni Event: Self Care With Kim
Kim Monson '01 is a licensed clinical social worker and an adjunct faculty of social work at Westfield State University. After years of social distancing and remote working and schooling necessary to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we now face the ending of some mask mandates and the reopening of social activities. In addition, witnessing what is unfolding in Eastern Europe is difficult, especially at a time when communities all over the world have been worn down by the pandemic. It is natural to feel stress, anxiety, grief, and worry during these times. Kim will help with identifying the effects of stress and healthy ways to manage it.
