Celebrate Culinary Arts
The public is invited to celebrate HCC's soon-to-be-completed, downtown Culinary Arts and Hospitality center during the city's Celebrate Holyoke community festival on Sat., Aug. 26.
Beginning at noon, HCC faculty, staff, students from HCC will talk about the new culinary arts and hospitality education center, which is on schedule to be completed early this fall with programming set to begin in November.
Culinary students and faculty from HCC will serve food and drinks outside the building, which is located at 164 Race St., on the corner of Appleton Street.
At 12:30 p.m., Holyoke mayor Alex Morse and other local dignitaries will receive a guided tour of the new facility, officially known as the HCC MGM Culinary Arts Institute.
Beginning at 1 p.m., and on every half hour until 4:30 p.m., members of the public can join small group tours of the building led by HCC faculty and staff.
