Math Mini Prep Program

Preparing for the placement test or a developmental math (DM) course? Want to review the basics before class begins? HCC offers online, self-paced Math Mini Prep for free.

Online classes are not facilitated, but still provide students with an intensive review of basic mathematics to college algebra at no cost. Pre- and post-assessments and math study skills are part of the review.

Free classes coming soon on Canvas.

Quick Math Prep Program

Quick Math Prep classes provide students with a review of Basic Math to College Algebra. The four areas of preparation classes are Basic Mathematics, Pre-Algebra, Introduction to Algebra, and Intermediate Algebra. Classes take place throughout the year, so students will be able to review material before taking a Developmental Math (DM) course or before taking the HCC Mathematics Placement Test (MPT). Students will review questions that are commonly found on the MPT which can help place students in a higher DM course or out of DM courses at HCC.
